Abstract
This document describes the Handle Naming Authorities used within
CORDRA and within the CORDRA system instance.

Introduction
CORDRA uses the

Handle System for identifiers. This document describes the
Handle Naming Authorities (handle prefixes) used within the CORDRA
system, the CORDRA system instance and the CORDRA documents.
A separate document describes

CORDRA Identifiers used to represent handles within the CORDRA
System instance.

Scope
The defined Handle Naming Authorities SHALL apply to all handles used
within the CORDRA Web Sites, CORDRA documents, the CORDRA document
repository, the CORDRA system, the CORDRA System instance or
implementation of the CORDRA system, or a definition, documentation
for, instance or implementation of Federated CORDRA.
Individual content objects within a CORDRA instance, content
repositories within a CORDRA instance and identifiers in a CORDRA
instance SHALL NOT use any of the defined CORDRA Handle Naming
Authorities.
