The CORDRA™ Simple ID generator (V1.00) is used to generate 16 or 32 character local names used in creating Handles and other IDs. The program has the following features.
- Simple Windows executable. ZIP
- Generate 32 character string IDs using the DCE GUID algorithm. These IDs should be unique.
- Generate 16 character string IDs. These 16 character strings are formed by XORing pairwise octets from a GUID. Emperical evidence shows they are unique, but there is guaruntee of uniqueness (the first 40M plus were unique in testing).
- Generate a single ID and put the value on the Window's clipboard.
- Generate an arbitrary number of IDs and write them to the file c:\ids.txt. The file name cannot be changed in the current version of the program.
The software is provided "as is".
